The Refugee's Journey
**The Refugee's Journey**
Amina arrived in a new country. She was scared and alone. The streets were busy, and the people spoke a language she did not understand. "Where am I?" she thought.
One day, while sitting on a bench, a girl named Emma came up to her. "Hi! I’m Emma. You look sad," she said with a smile. Amina nodded. She wanted to talk but did not know how.
Emma sat down next to her. "Do you want to play?" she asked. Amina smiled back, feeling happy. They played games together, and Emma showed Amina around the neighborhood.
As they became friends, Amina shared her story. "I had to leave my home because of the war," she said softly. Emma listened carefully. "I didn’t know that," she replied.
Together, they talked to their classmates. "We are friends," Amina said. "Refugees are just people like you." Everyone began to understand and feel empathy for Amina and others like her.
