**The Lantern Festival**

In a busy city, the Lantern Festival was coming soon. Four friends, Mia, Tom, Sara, and Jake, were excited. They gathered in Mia’s backyard to make their lanterns. “This will be fun!” said Sara with a big smile.

As they made their lanterns, they talked about their lives. “I am nervous about my school exams,” Tom said quietly. “I hope I do well.” Mia nodded. “I feel the same. I want to be a good student.”

Jake looked at his lantern and said, “I miss my family. They live far away. I hope to see them soon.” Sara added, “Let’s write our hopes on the lanterns. It will help us remember.”

Finally, the lanterns were ready. They stood together in the park at night. “Now, let’s release them!” shouted Mia. As they let go of the lanterns, they watched them float into the sky, shining bright.

“We are not alone,” Jake said, smiling. The friends felt happy, surrounded by light and hope.
