The Journey of the Migrating Birds
**The Journey of the Migrating Birds**
Once upon a time, a flock of birds flew high in the sky. They were headed south for the winter. As they flew, the leader, a wise old eagle named Eldrin, called out to the others, “What does home mean to you?”
The young sparrow, Pip, chirped excitedly, “Home is where I find food and shelter! It’s my nest in the tree.”
Eldrin nodded, “That is true, little one. But home can be more than just a place.”
The birds continued their journey, flying over mountains and rivers. They shared their thoughts. “I like the tall trees in the forest,” said a cheerful robin named Ruby. “But I feel at home when I am with my family.”
“Yes!” said Pip. “Being together makes any place feel like home.”
As they flew, they saw beautiful landscapes below. Eldrin said, “Look at that valley! It is new and different, yet we can make it our home for a while.”
The birds agreed. They discovered that home is not just a nest or a place. It is the love and friendship they share, no matter where they are.
With this thought in their hearts, the flock continued their journey, ready for new adventures.
