Lola the Loggerhead's Nesting Journey

**Lola the Loggerhead's Nesting Journey**

I am Lola, a loggerhead turtle. Every few years, I swim back to my nesting beach. This journey is long and dangerous, but it is my home. The warm sand calls to me, and I know I must return.

As I swim through the ocean, I meet many creatures. “Where are you going, Lola?” asks a curious dolphin. “I’m going home to lay my eggs,” I reply. He jumps and plays, but I am focused on my goal. I must avoid fishing nets and big boats.

Finally, I see the shore! The moon shines bright, guiding me. I crawl onto the sand, feeling the warmth beneath my flippers. It is time to dig. “I hope my eggs will be safe,” I whisper to the wind. I dig a deep hole and lay my eggs carefully.

Suddenly, I hear a noise. I look up to see people on the beach. “They must protect this place,” I think. If they care for the beach, my babies will have a better chance. After laying my eggs, I return to the sea, hoping for a safe future for my little ones.
